ELOPEMENT WEDDING MARCELI + PEDRO - QUINTA DO CONVENTO - ALENQUER - PORTUGAL

We are in the gracious village of Alenquer, in Estremadura, in the heart of Ribatejo - literally above (“riba”) the Tagus River. All this past of conquests and glories is still alive today in its monuments. There is the castle, the royal palace, the convent… and also a sea of vineyards that go up and down hills as far as the eye can see, giving rise to some of the most acclaimed wines of the Lisbon Region's Denomination of Origin Controlled (the capital is a mere 50 kilometers away). In the midst of them, fabulous farms were built, today perfect settings for fairytale weddings. It is not by chance that Alenquer is considered to be the newest secret treasure in Portugal that has been discovered by the newlyweds who choose a Destination Wedding.

It was there, in the beautiful gardens and vineyards of Quinta do Convento, that our dear grooms Marceli Frulani and Pedro Lobato exchanged secret vows, in a very special Elopement Wedding.

- Pedro and I had been dating for over four years. I wanted to get married and he didn't really care. From the moment he understood the importance it had for me, we decided that it would be an elopement wedding outside Brazil. A more intimate ceremony, with our face and just the two of us - says Marceli.

- Portugal sounded very favorable to us, due to the language, people, culture and gastronomy. It is a beautiful and very welcoming country.

Through the Blog Colher de Chá Noivas, its suppliers and partners in Portugal, had all the support, because they embraced the ideas and managed to make a dream come true - contextualizes the bride

Hosted in the Tower Room, specially prepared to meet the bride and groom, Marceli and Pedro were prepared, each on one floor of the tower. The place is beautiful, with extensive green area, the wedding room is a true fairy tale in the highest part of the Quinta.

Dear Claudia Mendes signed the beauty of the bride and Tissi Balboa, that of the groom - yes, groom also needs an up to ensure beautiful skin in all the photos on the album, isn't it?

Thrilled, Marceli was dressed by the stylist Morena Andrade, who signed a delicate tailor-made dress, with a strapless top that falls in French whipped lace, all embroidered with pearls and Swarowkski crystals to add volume. The skirt, very light, was made in tulle. To escort the veil, the wreath was designed by the Portuguese brand Chapeauxik, whose specialty is to design unique pieces full of history.

In predominant tones of salmon and pink, with peonies and light touches of lavender and greens, the bouquet featured the delicacy of the girls at Jardim Flora Wedding. In the same tone of European elegance, Pedro wore a suit by Eduardo Guinle with a salmon tie and lavender lapel.

The planning and decoration were in charge of the Portuguese WedWings by Rita Soares Alves who had the luxurious help of our planner Carla Baroncini in the preparations. At the tables, the beautiful A Pajarita stationery drew attention for its elegance. To pack, the Jukebox DJs guaranteed the entertainment until late at night.

In the end, we were all happy forever ...

ELOPEMENT WEDDING MARCELI + PEDRO - QUINTA DO CONVENTO - ALENQUER - PORTUGAL
